Welcome to this edition of the DSM Newsline.

Change in the computing technology business is a constant we live with. In the past couple of weeks we have been battling major changes in the email spam world. The spammers have discovered new technology to blast millions of spam messages through the internet, bypassing current filtering technology.

While this information is in the computing world press, we expect it to hit the mainstream media soon.

Our DSM Spamstopper has been keeping up with the excessive volume of messages and some of you may have experienced spam messages coming through to your email, a relatively unusual occurrence. Our system has been upgraded to handle these new spam attacks and it is learning to stop them better each day.

If you are experiencing more spam messages than usual, we expect them to subside substantially in the coming days. This situation illustrates the value of the DSM Spamstopper and how we come to rely on these technologies in our daily computing life.

The month of October marks the release of a major upgrade to the DSM Remote Monitoring System. This upgrade is the result of significant programming and R&D we have just completed. We will be installing the upgrade in all our clients' sites that have our monitoring system over the next few weeks.

This pushes the capabilities of our monitoring system substantially and provides us with more advanced tools to deliver pro-active and re-active service and support for your system.

The DSM Remote Monitoring System will now be able to report and alert on more system elements, while providing better tools for DSM to use to help you. We are excited to have new executive reporting that will be produced monthly to give you valuable information about your system.

Many of our customers may not be aware that DSM is the leading system implementation service provider for Dell Canada in South Western Ontario. We have become one of the highest ranked service suppliers to Dell in all of Canada.
